This very unique project is located across an expansive drainage from the renowned Golf Club in Martis Camp. Between design and construction, the endeavor nearly spanned 4 years. With commanding views of the Carson Range and the Pacific Crest, the design is centered around outdoor living space and blurring the distinction between inside and outside. Even though the parcel sloped significantly from the entry to the rear, the owners wanted an at grade exterior experience with a strong connection to the site. The solution was a series of board formed concrete of planters that retain the rear terrace where much time is spent three seasons out of the year. KS|a teamed up with Martine Paquin Design and Consulting on this joint effort to create not only a supremely compelling space but also and interior package that is a cut above other homes in the area. Creative use of materials, unique forms and superb workmanship delivered by Mountain Craft Homes all contribute to the stunning success of this Martis Camp retreat.
