Taylor McCalla
Project Architect

Project Architect
If you had asked eight-year-old Taylor what he’d want to do when he grew up his answer would have been ‘I want to design homes in Steamboat!’ It was great dream back then and it’s an even better reality.
After Taylor graduated from Iowa State university with a Bachelor of Architecture, he moved to Basalt, CO where he learned to love the mountain lifestyle. He worked at an architecture firm in Aspen designing high end residences. After seven years and having the pleasure of managing the 2021 Mountain Living Home of the Year, Taylor and his wife settled down in Steamboat. Taylor enjoys being heavily involved in all aspects of the project and working with clients to design their perfect home.
The McCalla’s and their two dogs spend as much time outside as they can, backpacking in the desert, striving to climb all of Colorado’s 14ers, or finding that next perfect campsite in the flat tops.
