This ski-in, ski-out trail side project is located just above the Four Seasons Hotel in Batchelor Gulch, Beaver Creek. It is conventionally framed both with structural and architectural log elements. There is in fact an intersection in the great room where thirteen logs come together in a valley. This project was completed in 2000 and is one of the more traditional designs in the KS|a portfolio. The floor plan is an open model that captures views of the Gore range while remaining intimate and cozy. At grade, patios trailside afford a close up experience with the ski resort.
