At a stone’s throw from the Crystal Lake House, and featured in the 2007 issue of Mountain Living as ‘Home of the Year’, these two projects were completed in concert. The lines of this home take on a slightly more traditional flavor, but there are many unique details that echo the language of the Crystal Lake House. The master in this case is upstairs with good views of the Ute, South of Town, and the large glazed façade still affords views from the great room up and out. Outdoor rooms with fireplaces in both projects extend the brief but sublime outdoor living season in Aspen.
