Garrett is a graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Italian. Throughout his time in school, he gained valuable experience through internships in residential architecture and in construction where he developed his passion for design and details from concept to execution in his projects.

Before starting at KS|a, Garrett worked as a teaching associate for Cal Poly’s Architecture Summer Career Workshop where he taught core architecture and design principles to high school students.

Garrett is originally from Southern California where he grew up surfing and playing goalie in ice hockey. Now based in Truckee, he also enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, and being in the outdoors.
