Kate is skilled at managing projects, interacting with clients, and collaborating with consultants.

Prior to joining the Truckee studio in 2019, Kate was an architect at Phinney Design Group in Saratoga Springs, New York, and architectural designer at the New York City office of Spectorgroup. Her design of an affordable home earned first place in a design competition co-sponsored by Habitat for Humanity of Nassau County to commemorate Spectorgroup’s 50^th anniversary. 

Kate received a bachelor’s degree in architecture from New York Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in environmental building design from the University of Pennsylvania.

Her hobbies include snowboarding, hiking, running, mountain biking, rock climbing, camping, and building furniture.
