Keith Kelly, AIA

Managing Partner

With three decades of experience in custom residential design and construction, Keith brings a breadth of architectural expertise to every client engagement. His stylistically diverse projects are built in mountain, coastal, and urban resort settings throughout the world. 

Influenced by his background in construction, Keith’s award-winning designs are inherently practical and impeccably detailed. His expansive knowledge of building materials opens the door to creative exploration that expands the possibilities of how materials are used. 

Prior to co-founding KS|a with Tim Stone in 2006, Keith served as project architect at Charles Cunniffe Architects, where he designed residential projects in resort communities and helped establish new offices in Vail and Steamboat Springs. 

Keith is a member of the design review committee for the Kukui’ula development, a luxury residential community on the south shore of Kauai. He also served on the design review committees at Storm Mountain Ranch and Sidney Peak Ranch in Steamboat Springs and Lewis Ranch at Copper Mountain.  

A member of the American Institute of Architects, Keith earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture at Texas Tech University. 

  • An outdoor enthusiast, Keith’s hobbies include mountain biking, camping, and keeping up with his daughters’ cross-country and downhill skiing activities. 
  • His projects are regularly published in print magazines, including Mountain Living, Tahoe Quarterly, Steamboat Magazine, Wood Design & Building, Gentry Home, and Forbes.
  • Energized by the personal interactions involved in designing custom homes, Keith often develops friendships with his clients that lead to future project collaborations.
