Wild Goose Ranch Equestrian Barn
This soaring agricultural building has become a Steamboat landmark in the recent past of Steamboat Springs. Visible from both the mountain and Highway 131, the design is right at home in the Yampa Valley. The owners are philanthropists and use the structure more for charity events than for equestrian purposes as can be seen in the shots of the polished interior and full kitchen. Traditional materials like the German smeared stone and beetle kill pine clad the exterior and help to reinforce the vernacular to which the building is a member.
